Amazon Key IN-GARAGE DELIVERY
Chamberlain and myQ partnered with Amazon to help homeowners protect packages from bad weather and porch pirates with In-Garage Delivery. In writing copy for Amazon, I worked to instill trust in Amazon drivers who securely open your linked garage with a one-time code and leave your orders safely inside.
Amazon Key reached 50 million deliveries in June 2023—and I leveraged this popularity in the copy to show how widely used and trusted this service is.
TESLA + MYQ CONNECTED GARAGE
Coming and going from home is seamless when you pair your Tesla with your myQ Connected Garage.
I was lead copywriter for partner work with Tesla, launching the Tesla + myQ Connected Garage program that lets drivers monitor, open, and close their garage easily from their Tesla’s touchscreen.
Drivers can also set a custom distance at which their garage will auto-open upon arriving home using the geofencing feature—no need to reach for a remote or your phone.
CONCEPTUAL PITCHES
The Chamberlain creative team is well aware that garages aren’t the coolest topic, so the writers and designers brainstormed fresh campaign ideas to make the idea of the garage more exciting and show how the space is actually an essential part of the home.
The ideas I presented to the Creative Director and Art Director revolved around the garage being where all the real action happens, framing Amazon In-Garage Delivery drivers as trusted superheroes braving the elements, and tapping into the rage you feel when one of your packages is stolen (enter In-Garage Delivery).
SEASONAL promos
You can’t catch everything that happens in your garage in real-time, so myQ offers video history plans that save recordings from your smart garage camera for up to 7 or 30 days.
We ran monthly promotional email campaigns offering a discount on myQ video storage plans to both current and potential myQ users, usually with a holiday tie-in for relevancy and fun.
